The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Srinagar has forecast the following weather conditions for Jammu and Kashmir:
May 8th to 10th: Mostly dry weather is expected, with a slight chance of afternoon or night thunderstorms in some areas.
May 11th and 12th: Expect partly to generally cloudy skies with light rain or snow at higher elevations. There’s a chance of thunderstorms in many places, and some areas may even see moderate rain, especially on May 12th. Farmers are advised to hold off on any farm work during these two days.
May 13th: Partly to generally cloudy skies with light rain possible in some areas.
May 14th to 17th: Mostly dry weather is expected.
Jammu: Hot and dry weather is likely to continue over the plains of the Jammu division.
