LG Sinha Visits Poonch, Meets Indian Army And BSF Personnel

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Poonch Brigade headquarters on Wednesday, where he interacted with Indian Army soldiers and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel.

During his address, LG Sinha lauded the armed forces, stating, “Today, the whole world knows Indian Armed Forces destroyed nine terror sites in Pakistan…Within three days, the enemy came down on its knees and started reaching out to the world…The whole country is proud of your bravery and valour.” He also drew a contrast with a neighboring country, remarking, “We are the world’s fifth-largest economy and will soon be the fourth-largest economy in the world. Our neighbour is trying to nurture terrorism with the loans it takes.”

In addition to his engagement with the troops, the Lieutenant Governor offered prayers at Gurudwara Nangali Sahib in Poonch. This visit followed a meeting of the unified command chaired by LG Sinha at the Raj Bhawan in Srinagar on Tuesday.
