May 29: J&K, Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan Border Districts to Conduct Mock Drill

On Thursday, security drills are scheduled in the border districts of Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir, states that share a border with Pakistan. These drills follow India’s recent “Operation Sindoor,” which reportedly targeted terror sites in Pakistan.

Notably, India conducted its first mock drill since 1971 on May 7, which was immediately followed by Operation Sindoor that same night. This operation successfully destroyed terror launch pads across the border, achieving three key objectives for India: political, military, and psychological.
