MLA Yudhvir kickstarts water supply pipe laying work in East Constituency

JAMMU, July 14: Senior BJP leader and MLA East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi today kickstarted a crucial water supply project aimed at strengthening the basic civic infrastructure in Lagpat Nagar, Goyal Lane, and Fishery Mohalla areas of East Constituency.
The project, which includes the laying of new water supply pipes, has been taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 14.5 lakhs under the ongoing efforts to ensure uninterrupted and clean drinking water supply to the residents of the area.

While addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi emphasized the BJP-led government’s commitment to equitable development and delivering basic amenities at the doorstep of every citizen. “Water is a basic necessity and we are working relentlessly to bridge all gaps in civic infrastructure,” he said, adding that several such projects are underway in different parts of the constituency.

The MLA further stated that he is available for the people of Jammu East 24×7 and remains fully committed to addressing their concerns with utmost sincerity and urgency. “My doors are always open for the residents, and I consider it my duty to ensure that their issues—be it related to water, power, sanitation, or roads—are resolved without delay,” he added.

Locals of the area expressed gratitude to the MLA and PHE Department for addressing their long-pending demand.

Yudhvir Sethi assured them that all pending issues regarding water, roads, sanitation, and electricity will be resolved in a phased and time-bound manner.

On the occasion, Executive Engineer PHE, Rajesh Ji, along with prominent BJP leaders including Raman Sharma, Swati Sharma, Swarn Singh, S. Ranjit Singh, Kartar Ji, Chaman Lal Angral Ji, and Goyal Ji were present.
