Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 50,000 government jobs to newly inducted recruits on Saturday, in an initiative called Rozgar Mela. He said that this is part of his commitment to provide employment opportunities to youth and empower them to participate in national development.
The new recruits will join various ministries and departments, including railways, posts, home affairs, revenue, higher education, school education and literacy, and health and family welfare. They will also get training through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module with over 750 e-learning courses.
