Pilgrimages to the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, faced disruptions on Tuesday. The new track to the shrine was closed due to landslides and mudslides, triggered by heavy rains on Monday near Hemkoti. Officials report that crews are actively working to clear the debris, and as a result, the battery car service on this route is also suspended.
Additionally, the chopper service from Katra to Sanjhi Chhat remained suspended for the sixth consecutive day due to dense fog. Authorities stated that the service will resume once weather conditions improve.
