The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against five individuals, including Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Goldy Brar, in connection with the 2024 Gurugram club bomb attack case.
The chargesheet, submitted to a Panchkula court on Friday, names Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar, Sachin Taliyan, Ankit, Bhawish, and US-based Randeep Singh alias Randeep Malik. They have been booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Arms Act, Explosives Substance Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Among the accused, only Brar and Malik remain at large; the others have been apprehended.
According to NIA officials, the accused conspired to bomb the Warehouse Club and the Human Club in Gurugram’s Sector 29. This attack, which occurred on December 10, 2024, was part of a broader scheme by the banned terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) to incite communal discord and destabilize peace in Haryana and surrounding areas.
NIA investigations revealed that Goldy Brar and his associates orchestrated this “deep-rooted” terror conspiracy. The probe agency stated that this terror syndicate is actively involved in extortion, raising terror funds, acquiring explosives and weapons, and spreading terror among the populace, thereby threatening India’s integrity, security (including economic security), and sovereignty.
