A motorcycle crash involving an army truck in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Saturday claimed the life of a 29-year-old man and injured his friend.
The accident occurred at around 8:15 AM at Haneja Morh, four kilometers from Thathri. Mohd Aslam Deedar and his friend Mohd Sharief were on their way to their work as laborers in the Sartingal area of Bhaderwah when their motorcycle collided with the army truck.
Deedar, who was riding the motorcycle, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Government Medical College Hospital in Doda. Sharief was injured in the accident but his condition is stable.
The police have seized the army vehicle and booked its driver.
