In commemoration of the Platinum Jubilee of 16 Corps Signal Regiment, the Jammu-based 16 Corps of the Indian Army has embarked on a cycling expedition from Nagrota in Jammu to Khardungla in Leh, Ladakh.

The grueling expedition spans approximately 800 kilometers of mountainous and treacherous terrain, challenging the cyclists to traverse through the picturesque yet demanding landscape. With a planned duration of 23 days, the expedition aims to foster camaraderie and esprit-de-corps among serving soldiers and veterans while inspiring the nation’s youth to dedicate themselves to serving the country.

As a testament to their unwavering commitment and respect for the nation’s fallen heroes, the cycling team paid homage to the bravehearts who made the ultimate sacrifice for India’s sovereignty. The expedition is scheduled to culminate in Leh on November 16, marking a significant achievement for the participating cyclists.
