People Involved In Pahalgam Terror Attack Will Get Strong Response: Rajnath Singh

Following the heinous terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh declared on Wednesday that those involved will face a strong response in the “near future.” He asserted that India cannot be “intimidated” by such terrorist acts.

Speaking at an event a day after the attack that tragically killed 26 people and sparked widespread condemnation both within India and internationally, Singh assured the nation of decisive action. “From this platform, I assure the countrymen that in view of the incident, the government of India will take every step that is necessary and appropriate,” he stated.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to not only finding the perpetrators but also uncovering and reaching those who orchestrated the “nefarious act” from behind the scenes.

The Defence Minister underscored India’s resilience, stating, “India is such an old civilization and such a big country that it cannot be intimidated by any such terrorist activities.” He firmly added, “The people responsible for such acts will get a strong response in the near future.”

Describing the Pahalgam attack as “extremely inhuman” and deeply distressing, Singh reiterated India’s unwavering stance against terrorism: “I would like to reiterate India’s firm resolve that we have a zero tolerance policy against terrorism.” He concluded by affirming the unity of the Indian people against this “cowardly act.”
