Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the 6th Convocation Ceremony of SKUAST Kashmir in Srinagar, with Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, as the Chief Guest.
Union Minister Chouhan congratulated the graduating students and shared his admiration for Kashmir’s natural beauty and its people.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha highlighted the government’s commitment to developing Jammu and Kashmir as a horticulture hub, stating, “Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jammu Kashmir and Prosperous farming community is our resolve.” He praised SKUAST Kashmir for its role in developing human resources, improving the farm sector in J&K, and its remarkable rise in rankings.
