According to officials, a cloudburst struck the Seri Bagna area of Ramban this Sunday morning, tragically resulting in the death of three individuals.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban Baseer Ul Haq reported that persistent overnight rainfall triggered landslides and flash floods, causing significant damage to properties and vehicles along the Jammu-Srinagar Highway within the district.
He further stated that a large-scale rescue operation has been underway since last night, with personnel and equipment deployed to address the situation. Road closures due to landslides are also being managed.
Adding to the distress, he confirmed the loss of three lives due to the cloudburst.
