Security Forces Launch Search in Kathua’s Rasana Area Following Suspected Activity

Following a tip about suspicious activity, security forces initiated a search operation on Sunday near a forest in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, according to officials.

Authorities stated that a priest spotted three individuals carrying backpacks heading towards the Rasana forest area at approximately 3:30 am and promptly notified the police.

Responding swiftly, a special operations group from the local police, along with army and CRPF personnel, established a cordon around the area. They then launched a large-scale search to locate the suspected individuals, officials reported.

As of the latest reports, the officials indicated that the suspected persons had not yet been found, and the search operation was ongoing deep within the forest.
