Ramban Police have seized 10.18 kanals of agricultural land under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), 1967, as part of an ongoing anti-terrorism investigation.
The seized properties are:
- 7 kanals 3 marlas: Owned by Mohd. Sharief, located in Dalwah village. (Khasra No. 282 Min,274 Min 664/544/361, Khewat No 98 and 99).
- 3 kanals 15 marlas: Owned by Mohd. Younis, located in Kalimasta Mohra Hara village. (Khasra No. 129/330/193/402/363/343/214/182/124/127, Khewat No 51,52 and 55).
These seizures are connected to FIR No. 04/2024, registered at Gool Police Station, under sections 120-B/121-A IPC and 13/18/20/39 UAPA. The operation, conducted with an Executive Magistrate present, ensures legal compliance.
This action follows a previous seizure of 23.13 kanals in February 2024, bringing the total land seized in this case to 34.11 kanals. Revenue records have been updated, and notices prohibiting sale or transfer have been issued.
