“As part of the District Police Reasi’s ongoing anti-drug campaign, officers from Police Station Katra apprehended Kasturi Lal, resident of Matyal, Katra, during a patrol on Circular Road. A search of his person revealed 7 grams of heroin and packaging materials.
A case, FIR No. 86/2025, under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act, has been registered at Police Station Katra. An investigation is underway to identify the drug’s source and distribution network.
The operation was conducted by SHO Katra, Inspector Khyatimaan Khajuria, under the supervision of SDPO Katra, Dr. Bhishm Dubey, JKPS, and SP Katra, Sh. Vipan Chandran, JKPS.
