Samba Police have arrested Mohd Saleem, son of Mohd Munshi, resident of Beli Charana, Jammu, in connection with the theft of a motorcycle from Vijaypur Hospital. The arrest follows a complaint filed on February 17, 2025, by Jarnail Singh, resident of Vijaypur, regarding the theft of his Hero Splendor motorcycle (registration number JK21F-5938).
A case (FIR No. 22/2025, under section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) was registered at Police Station Vijaypur. Following an investigation involving technical analysis and diligent efforts by a team led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of PS Vijaypur, Mohd Saleem was identified and apprehended. Upon questioning, he confessed to the theft, and the stolen motorcycle was recovered from his possession. The investigation is ongoing.
