The Police Post Pouni Chak, Jammu, has successfully recovered a stolen Tata Mobile and apprehended the suspect involved.
On March 9, 2025, Vikas Mehra, a resident of Santra Morh, Pounichak, Jammu, filed a complaint with the Police Post Pounichak regarding the theft of his Tata Mobile, registration number JK02 AB 4710. In response, a case was registered under FIR No. 67/25 U/S 303(2) BNS, and an immediate investigation commenced.
A dedicated team from PP Pouni Chak, under the command of the I/CPP and the supervision of SHO Domana, conducted a thorough investigation. Their efforts led to the arrest of Mohd Akram @Akkri, son of Mohd Qazi, resident of Kherain Gole Gujral, Jammu, a known offender. Following his arrest, the stolen Tata Mobile, bearing registration number JK02 AB 4710, was successfully recovered based on Akram’s disclosure.
