The Jammu divisional administration announced Monday the reopening of educational institutions in non-border districts. According to a post on the Divisional Commissioner Jammu’s official X account, this decision follows a review of the situation by the Education Department. Schools and colleges in border districts, however, will remain closed until further notice. This decision is a result of ongoing security concerns stemming from recent cross-border shelling. Authorities stated that this measure aims to prioritize student safety while progressively returning to normal operations in less vulnerable areas.
