“Under the direction of the Hon’ble Special Court (NDPS) Baramulla, the District Drug Disposal Committee, led by SP Sopore Smt. Divya D-IPS and DySP DAR Sopore Shri. Mohammad Abdullah, destroyed narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances valued at lakhs. This destruction, conducted via incineration at the designated site in Lassipora Pulwama, involved substances seized from various NDPS cases across Police District Sopore.
The destroyed items included:
- 4.646 kg of Poppy Straw/Powder
- 30 bottles of Codeine Phosphate
- 10 Alpha Drug Tablets
- 1981 capsules of Spasmoproxyvon
The process adhered to all legal requirements outlined in the Rules, 2022, and was carried out in strict compliance with the court’s directives.”
