It’s quite significant that Emraan Hashmi’s film “Ground Zero” will have its red carpet premiere in Srinagar, marking the first such event in 38 years! Hashmi himself emphasized the importance of this moment for the region and its people, who he believes have talent that needs avenues like film and television to flourish.
Having spent about a month filming “Ground Zero” in Srinagar, Hashmi expressed his happiness at returning, even noting the pleasant weather compared to Mumbai. Directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Excel Entertainment’s Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, “Ground Zero” is an action thriller centered on the true story of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey’s efforts to find the person responsible for the 2001 Parliament and Akshardham Temple attacks.
