The minimum temperatures in Kashmir have plummeted further, with Srinagar recording the coldest night of the season at minus 1.8 degrees Celsius. The weatherman has predicted dry weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Qazigund recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.0 degree Celsius, while Gulmarg recorded a minimum temperature of 0.6 degree Celsius. Pahalgam, a famous tourist spot, recorded a low of minus 3.3 degrees Celsius, and Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.4 degrees Celsius.
The sub-zero temperatures are being witnessed amid foggy weather conditions, which according to the meteorological department will continue till November 27.
