JAMMU: Sukhnandan Choudhary, senior BJP leader and former minister, along with Anil Masoom, the Corporator of Ward No 10, today inaugurated newly opened City Library, located opposite Ranbir Library, Parade Road, Kachi Chawni, Jammu.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, local residents, and students, who expressed their excitement about this new addition to the community.
During his address, Sukhnandan Choudhary appreciated the efforts of Amit Magotra, Proprietor of City Library, for establishing such a valuable facility. He emphasized the importance of educational resources and highlighted that this library would provide unprecedented access to knowledge and information for individuals of all ages.
Corporator Anil Masoom praised the City Library for its extraordinary features and the opportunities it brings to the local population. He commended Amit Magotra for creating a space which offers state-of-the-art amenities, including high-speed internet connectivity, uninterrupted power supply, separate cabins for private study, a calm and peaceful environment, and even a canteen facility. Masoom predicted that the library will greatly benefit students and urged them to take full advantage of this incredible resource.
Amit Magotra, Proprietor of City Library, shared details about the facilities available in the library. He mentioned that the library will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, enabling individuals to access its resources at any time that suits them. Singh also highlighted the availability of hi-speed Internet, which will aid in research and online learning, as well as the separate cabins for quiet study. He emphasized that the library aims to create a serene and conducive environment for studying.
The City Library is expected to become a hub for students and knowledge seekers in Jammu. With its modern amenities and round-the-clock availability, it is set to become a central resource for educational and self-development purposes.
