A private passenger bus traveling from Ghani village to Mendhar in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Sangra in the Mankote area around 9:20 am on Tuesday, according to officials. The accident resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to 20 others. A rescue operation was initiated promptly.
