Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir – Plans for the Udhampur Airport are moving forward with a two-phase implementation strategy, Union Minister and Udhampur Lok Sabha MP Dr. Jitendra Singh announced today. This development follows a series of high-level meetings held by Dr. Singh with key officials, including Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, Union Civil Aviation Secretary Samir K. Sinha, and representatives from the Airport Authority of India (AAI). Dr. Singh also engaged with Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and secured cooperation from Indian Air Force authorities and the local administration.
