Police in Udhampur have arrested three individuals, including the victim’s wife, in connection with the murder of Ravi Kumar, whose body was discovered in a bag in the Chenani area.
The investigation began after a foul-smelling bag was found under stones in Laddha village on Thursday. Inside, authorities found the decomposed body of a man, later identified as Ravi Kumar from Chulna-Panchari.
Detectives quickly focused on Kumar’s wife, Nisha Devi, her sister-in-law, Kanta Devi, and Kanta Devi’s son, Joginder, all from Nargela village. All three were taken into custody and have since confessed to their involvement in the killing, citing a “personal domestic dispute” as the motive.
