During routine patrol, an Udhampur Police team led by the SHO apprehended a suspicious individual, Sanjay Sharma @Sanju Bawa S/O Narinder Kumar R/O A/P Kaller, Udhampur, who attempted to evade police. A subsequent frisking resulted in the recovery of 11.29 grams of heroin (chitta). The suspect was arrested, and a case vide FIR No. 167/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Udhampur for further investigation.
