In a significant move to enhance pilgrim experience, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has reduced the Atka Aarti fee for those making online bookings. This revised fee structure will be applicable until February 2024, after which it will be reviewed for further consideration.
Now, a group of four people, including two adults and two children (up to 10 years of age), can attend the Atka Aarti for a reduced fee of Rs 5100, compared to the previous individual fee of Rs 2000. This concession is exclusively available for online bookings, while those opting for on-the-spot registration will continue to pay the older fee. Additionally, the online booking includes accommodation facilities at Bhawan.
This decision aims to encourage more pilgrims to experience the Atka Aarti, especially during the off-season between November and February when there is a relatively lower footfall. The enhanced infrastructure can now accommodate 400 to 500 devotees simultaneously for the aarti.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Chief Executive Officer, Anshul Garg, has confirmed the implementation of this reduced Atka Aarti fee.
