Two suspected persons were arrested with arms and ammunition on Monday evening in Dangarpora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A joint party of JK Police and Army arrested Ghulam Hassan Mir and Mukhtar Ahmad Khan, both residents of Chandoosa Baramulla, at Nardhari Dangarpora. Upon frisking them, the party recovered a Chinese pistol, 12 9mm rounds, and two Chinese grenades.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of law, and both persons are in custody for questioning.
