The first case began on August 3, 2025, when the DGM of Patel Engineering filed a complaint at Police Post Dool. The company reported that valuable construction material, including various sizes of MS sheets and other items, was stolen from the Dool Stock Yard on August 2, 2025. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered under sections 331(4) and 305 of the BNS.
A second case was also registered under FIR No. 180/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS at the Padyarana Police Post. Under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh, a special police team was formed to investigate both cases.
In the Dool burglary, police arrested four individuals:
- Muzamil Hussain
- Arif Hussain
- Jaleel Ahmed
- Shahid Hussain
Upon interrogation, all four confessed to the crime, leading to the recovery of 69 iron plates weighing approximately 2,085 kg and valued at ₹3 lakhs.
In the Padyarana case, three people were arrested:
- Shabir Ahmed
- Aqib Hussain
- Akther Hussain
Their confessions resulted in the recovery of six iron plates, valued at approximately ₹30,000.
Kishtwar Police officials stated they are committed to taking strong action against property-related crimes and ensuring peace and safety for the public.
