Police in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, have sealed a bank account and attached a motorcycle belonging to an alleged drug peddler, Vikrant Sharma.
Authorities attached a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle and a bank account containing Rs 7.17 lakh under section 68-F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Officials stated that these properties were determined to have been acquired illegally and were disproportionate to Sharma’s known income sources.
The police have reiterated their commitment to eliminating drug-related crime in the district.
