Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said that the days of frequent shutdowns in Kashmir are over, and that the region is now peaceful and prosperous. He addressed a gathering of students at Amar Singh College in Srinagar, and said that the youth are the future of Kashmir and the country.
Sinha said that the government is committed to providing a conducive environment for the youth to study and grow. He said that the businesses in Kashmir are flourishing, and that the economy is growing. He also said that Indian doctors have made the country proud by providing vaccines against COVID-19 to dozens of foreign countries.
Sinha urged the youth to support the government in its efforts to build a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir. He said that the youth can play a vital role in making India a strong nation.
The Lieutenant Governor’s speech was well-received by the students, who expressed their commitment to working for the development of Kashmir.
