An earlier report about an unidentified body found in Watnard village, Kokernag has been updated. The body has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Shaan, son of Abdul Gani, a resident of Nowgam Banihal.
Passersby found the body and informed the police. The police took possession of the body for investigation and determined the identity. Inquest proceedings are underway.
