“A vehicle carrying vegetables plunged into a deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in the Battery Chashma area of Ramban district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.
The deceased have been identified as Irshad Ahmed, the driver, and Seva Singh, his helper, both residents of Ukhral Pogal Paristan, Ramban.
Authorities, including the Police, the Union Territory Disaster Response Force (UTDRF), and the Civil Quick Response Team (QRT) of Ramban, are currently conducting a rescue operation to recover the bodies from the gorge.”
