On his 56th birthday, actor Akshay Kumar visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to seek the blessings of Lord Mahakal. He was accompanied by Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who also prayed for the success of the Indian cricket team.
Kumar and Dhawan participated in the Bhasma Aarti and sought Lord Mahakal’s blessings for the country’s progress and prosperity. Kumar also expressed his desire to work for the betterment of society.
Earlier this week, Kumar unveiled the teaser of his upcoming film, “Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue.” The film is based on the true story of Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 6.
Kumar will also be seen in the Hindi remake of the Tamil drama “Soorarai Pottru,” which is scheduled to be released on February 16, 2024.
