The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Mukesh Singh, decorated four newly promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) in a simple ceremony held at the Zonal Police Headquarters in Jammu on Saturday.
The officers who were decorated are Zaffer Amin, Mohammad Showket, Farooq Ahmed Khateeb, and Dhiraj Nugyal. They were promoted to the rank of DySP in recognition of their distinguished service.
During the ceremony, ADGP Singh congratulated the officers on their promotion and urged them to continue to work with dedication and zeal. He said that the promotion is a recognition of their hard work and commitment to the service. He also hoped that the promotion would bring a new spirit of public service among the officers.
The ceremony was also attended by Janardhan Singh Slathia, DySP (S), Private Secretary to ADGP Jammu Zone, and Deshbir Singh, DySP (incharge personal section).
