During his recent visit to the United Kingdom, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar unveiled the fourth edition of Bharat Bhawan, a quarterly Hindi magazine published by the Indian High Commission in London. The event was also attended by India’s High Commissioner to London, Vikram Doraiwswami, and India’s Deputy High Commissioner to London, Sujit Ghosh.
Bharat Bhawan serves as a platform to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant contemporary scene to the Indian diaspora in the UK. The magazine features articles on a wide range of topics, including Indian art, literature, music, cinema, and cuisine.
In his remarks at the event, Minister Jaishankar commended the Indian High Commission in London for its efforts in promoting Indian culture and language in the UK. He also highlighted the importance of strong ties between India and the UK, emphasizing the two countries’ shared values and commitment to multilateralism.
