The first batch of Agniveers from the Kashmir Valley joined the Indian Army on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. A passing out parade for the Agniveers was held at the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Regiments (JAKLI) centre in Srinagar on Tuesday.
The young Agniveers were recruited through the Army Recruitment Office (ARO) Srinagar. The parade was attended by the Agniveers’ parents and other dignitaries.
