Following the Lieutenant Governor’s approval, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has promoted five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) with immediate effect.
The newly promoted officers are Owais Rashid, Sarfaraz Bashir Ganai, Gh Mustafa Bhat, Shahzada Kabir Mattoo, and Ashish Gupta. All five are members of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS).
