The Jammu & Kashmir government has issued a public notice to strengthen food safety by mandating that all businesses handling frozen raw meat and chicken strictly follow the guidelines set by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). This directive applies to all Food Business Operators (FBOs), from manufacturers and retailers to transporters and e-commerce platforms.
