In a move to counter terrorism funding, police in Baramulla district of Kashmir have seized land parcels belonging to seven individuals accused of supporting terror activities. The action was taken with legal approval from the Additional Sessions Court.
The seized properties, totaling over eight Kanals of land, are linked to seven suspects currently residing in Pakistan. Authorities identified these individuals during an investigation into a 2008 case registered under various sections of the law, including the Explosive Substances Act and Indian Penal Code.
“This operation reinforces our commitment to fight terrorism and its financial networks,” a police statement said.
