Citizens of Jammu and Kashmir must unite and work towards the goal of making India a developed country by 2047, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Tuesday.
He made the remarks after flagging off a ‘Run for Unity’ in Srinagar to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Sinha said that Patel’s vision was to build a strong and prosperous India, and that his values and ideals are still relevant today. He urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to reawaken the values and vision propagated by Patel and work for peace, harmony, and prosperity in society.
