The government of Jammu and Kashmir has formed a committee to assess current limitations on establishing new facilities that produce plant protection chemicals. These chemicals include pesticides, weedicides, and herbicides.
The committee will be composed of key figures from relevant departments: the Directors of Industries and Commerce for both Jammu and Kashmir, and the Managing Director of JKI Limited.
