Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a meeting on October 10, 2023, to review the arrangements for President Draupadi Murmu’s upcoming visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
The Lt Governor assessed the preparations for the University of Kashmir convocation, which the President will attend. He also reviewed the security arrangements and directed the implementation of a meticulous traffic plan for the President’s visit.
The meeting was attended by Vijay Kumar, ADGP Kashmir; Prof. Nilofer Khan, Vice Chancellor Kashmir University; Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lt Governor; Vijay Bidhuri, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; Sujit Kumar, DIG CKR Srinagar; Athar Amir Khan, Commissioner SMC; Mohammad Aijaz, DC Srinagar; Rakesh Balwal, SSP Srinagar, and other senior officers.
