An unexploded shell, reportedly fired from Pakistan, was safely detonated by the Indian Army’s bomb disposal squad in a border village in Jammu and Kashmir. The shell, found on a roadside in Dara Bagyal, Poonch, posed a significant risk to local residents.
Mohammad Mashuk, a local resident, praised the army’s efforts, stating, “The live shell, which was here in Dara Bagyal, was a threat to everyone living here, and this threat has now been averted.” He further emphasized the danger the shell presented, especially to those using the nearby path. Another local from Dara Bagyal also expressed gratitude, saying, “We were in danger and fearful due to this. I want to thank them for destroying the bomb.”
