NIA searches six locations in Jammu in terror conspiracy case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in six locations across Jammu province today. This action is part of an ongoing investigation into a Pakistan-backed terror conspiracy (RC-05/2022/NIA/JMU).

The NIA targeted Doda, Ramban, and Kishtwar districts, seizing digital devices, documents, and other incriminating materials. These materials are linked to “hybrid terrorists,” individuals supporting terror groups, and members of newly formed terror outfits affiliated with LeT, JeM, HM, and others.

The NIA registered this case in June 2022 to dismantle these terror networks and their offshoots, including TRF, ULFJ&K, MGH, JKFF, and others. Today’s raids aim to disrupt their plans to radicalize youth, recruit support, and ultimately disturb peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
