Two Punjab tourists stranded at Sinthan Top in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district due to snowfall were rescued on Friday by a police team led by Senior Superintendent of Police Khalil Poswal.
The rescued tourists, Piyush Vij and Mohammed Shareif, are in good health and have expressed their gratitude to the police for their prompt response.
Police have advised residents and visitors to exercise caution while traveling to remote or high-altitude areas, especially during unpredictable weather conditions.
