India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently held “constructive” discussions with his Chinese counterpart, Admiral Dong Jun, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers’ Meeting in Qingdao, China. During their talks on Thursday evening, Minister Singh emphasized the importance of maintaining positive momentum in bilateral relations and avoiding any new complexities.
“Held talks with Admiral Dong Jun, the Defence Minister of China, on the sidelines of the SCO Defence Ministers’ Meeting in Qingdao. We had a constructive and forward-looking exchange of views on issues about bilateral relations,” Singh shared in a social media post on Friday, underscoring the positive nature of the interaction.
