The Jammu RTO office has been in the news for the past few weeks. People’s driving licenses have not been printed, and they are unable to get their licenses even after visiting the RTO office repeatedly.
People are angry and frustrated because they have to spend time and money to travel to the RTO office, only to be disappointed. It is ironic that the RTO office always has a shortage of license printing cards, and printing can only begin after the tendering process is started.
The RTO office, which earns crores of rupees in revenue, is now in a recession. The RTO Jammu claimed that the tendering process would be completed from July 15, but it is still unclear whether the process will be completed.
