In a crackdown on misconduct, Jammu and Kashmir Police fired three Special Police Officers (SPOs) on Tuesday. Daljeet Singh, Bali Ram, and Deepak Singh were dismissed for failing in their duties and violating the NDPS Act.
Daljeet Singh and Bali Ram were arrested earlier in a murder case but managed to escape custody, highlighting a serious lapse in responsibility. Deepak Singh’s dismissal stemmed from his involvement in a drug-related case registered under the NDPS Act. These actions by the J&K Police demonstrate their commitment to maintaining a clean force.
