A terrorist has been killed in an ongoing gunfight which broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Saida Sohal area of Hiranagar in J&K’s Kathua after terrorists attacked a house along the International Border in the region.
The firing is going on in village Saida Sukhal near Koota Mode under the jurisdiction of police station Hira Nagar. One terrorist has been killed and the operation is going on, said ADGP Jammu.
Report said that a terrorist was killed while two more are believed to be trapped in the area.
Earlier, security forces had launched a search operation after gunshots were heard in the area.
